Adventure in Outdoor Learning Professional Development & Conference Event

The conference theme is ‘Adventure in Outdoor Learning’.

Delegates will be outdoor education centre heads, senior practitioners, practitioners, teachers, students and freelance outdoor education instructors from throughout the UK.

Bookings are already brisk and, as in previous years, we expect to have a sell-out event well in advance of the conference date.

The listed cost for exhibits/trade spaces is Friday £300, Saturday £150, Full 2 days £400.
For OIA members the cost will be Friday £270, Saturday £135, Full 2 days £360.

Friday is designed for practitioners, senior practitioners and managers with an interest in the future development of the Outdoor Learning Sector (and their place within it). Strategic input and debate considering the role of outdoor learning in adventure, leisure and sustainability.

Keynotes followed by peer led group discussion and debate - for anyone with an interest in the future potential of outdoor learning in UK society

In the evening there is an illustrated talk, followed by dinner and to round off the evening a pub-style quiz with prizes.

Saturday is a menu of workshops where you can top up your existing skills and knowledge or explore a completely new area. The workshops cater for all levels as well as providing CPD opportunities for full time, part time and voluntary practitioners.
